‘Marbles’ was screened at the quirky Arch1 Festival, held in an underground venue, in December 2014 to a very warm reception. Following the screening I joined other filmmakers for a Q&A session. It was a lovely, festive event. Lots of Christmas jumpers being worn and good chats about creative projects. Marbles will be screened again at Arch1 in the Spring as a part of the festival’s awards screening.
“Located in the heart of East London, the Arch Film Festival was founded with the purpose of establishing a home for upcoming filmmakers to showcase their work. Once a month a diverse array of filmmakers and film enthusiasts come together to celebrate the art and influence of cinema in the unique and exciting atmosphere of Arch1. Festival events include screenings, Q&A’s with filmmakers and conversations with prominent members of the film community.
Arch1 Film Festival was founded by Robert Clarke, owner of Arch1, and Tom Stock, director of A Mean Reds Production and founder of the annual Red Minies Short Film Festival. The need to showcase new talent brought these two creative minds together resulting in Arch1 Film Festival. Don’t just watch cinema; be part of it.”
