My graduation film ‘Marbles’ is complete! It was a great experience, I had a lot of fun throughout the process and worked with some fantastic people – cast, crew and others. When it was finished I sent it out to a range of people to gather some feedback about how they viewed and understood it. This feedback meant a lot to me – it was great to hear that the film had explored and provoked thought in the areas that I had hoped and also others which I hadn’t thought of… I want to leave this open ended, for you all to see what you think. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments on the film!
I was lucky enough to have my film selected to represent the course at the Degree Industry Screening at Cinema City in Norwich, which meant that I got to see the film on the big screen. Super exciting!
I have worked on some lovely projects recently and there are more exciting things coming up including…. banjos!
Also recently, I graduated Norwich University of the Arts with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Film & Moving Image Production. Here’s a pic of me and Grace on the day.
In other news, I went to Latitude Festival over the weekend which was great – my favorite things of the weekend were: hanging around in the Koyote Moon tent, seeing Nina Conti (ventriloquist), Q&As with – Andrea Arnold (dir. ‘Fish Tank’), Ben Wheatley (followed by a screening of ‘A Field in England’) and Paddy Considine (!!)… also Coco Rosie and spending time with lovely beautiful friends 😉
Last week I made a slightly terrifying, spontaneous hooping video inspired by ‘Essex Girls’ which looks something like this…….
And that’s all for now 😉
