I’m currently working as a Camera Operator on Kris Smith’s short film Damage. You can see the IMDB page here. The central character of the film, Caroline Murphy, is getting married and aspires to become a model… it focusses on the relationship between her and a photographer. The film is set in the 1960s, which has been great fun for costume, make-up and set design. On the weekend we shot the wedding scene and the wedding reception and last night we shot a scene at the Murphy’s family home. Here’s a little taster photo of the wedding reception so you can get an idea of what it will look like – photo by Adam Heritage of HB Wedding Photography – all of my photos got lost in the SD card backup/swap sessions… Hopefully I can reclaim them at some point! The bride and groom are played by Marie Wilson and Kris Dillon.
I’ve found working on this project to be really good fun. It’s a big cast and a fairly big crew with ambitious set and costume requirements (which have been fulfilled really well). It was also my first wedding which was nice!
Here are a couple of photos from last nights shoot.
